The creator of the restaurant, Josep Mercader, is a mythical figure of the Catalan gastronomy that build a fecund teaching in its time and bequeathed and autentic worthy school of pursuit.

Today he continues himself working what one has occurred in calling the line of product, offering diverse applications and results of the Earth fruits and the sea of the Emporda.
