Location

Known as the Catalan Tuscany, the Empordà, in the province of Girona, has a good climate all year round and magical landscapes made up of tiny medieval towns, thick poplar groves and paths shaded by pine trees and evergreen oaks. The beaches of its Mediterranean shoreline, known as the Costa Brava, are bathed by a turquoise sea.
In the heart of the Baix Empordà, ten kilometres inland from the coast, is Regencós, a small town of stone-built houses -historically home to potters- above which rises a church steeple.
Hotel del Teatre, consisting of two refurbished 18th century farm houses, is in the square known as Plaça Major, just opposite the old popular theatre.
